Chris Leone heads the internet marketing division for a Richmond, VA web solutions firm. Chris’ responsibilities focus around organic SEO, SMO, PPC advertising, analytics, and web 2.0/social media integration in medium and small business web applications. Chris is both a certified Google Advertising Professional (GAP), a certification only held by approximately 1000 individuals worldwide, and a Google Analytics Qualified Individual.

Chris graduated from the University of Delaware in 2007 with a B.S. in Business Administration with a dual major in Marketing and Operations Management and a minor in Economics. While at the University, Chris studied abroad in New Zealand and Australia, was a four year member of the UD marching band and pep band, and became a member Omicron Delta Epsilon - an International Economics Honor Society.

Chris’ previous business positions prior to joining WSI was as office manager for Sunglass Menagerie, a sunglass chain located throughout Southern New Jersey, and marketing intern for Lindenberg Financial, a Landenberg, PA based financial solutions firm. His business experience leading up to and including his position at WSI has instilled a passion for small businesses and entrepreneurship.

As an active blogger and participator in the social media/web 2.0 world, Chris stays on the forefront of the topics such as social media marketing and personal branding. He is the founder of drumFunny.com: a music humor and percussive comedy blog.

Chris is an instructor and arranger for drumlines in the greater Richmond, VA area. He currently serves on the instruction team for George Mason University. Chris’ performance and instruction resume includes the Cavaliers drum and bugle corps (2006 member, 2007 instructor), Aimachi percussion (2007, 2008 instructor and member) from Nagoya, Japan, and the University of Delaware drumline (2003-2006 member, 2007 instructor).

In his spare time, Chris enjoys mountain biking, spending time at the Jersey shore, and traveling the world.
