The guys had their first show this weekend in VA Beach. It was a busy day that required a 5 am wake-up and got me home around 2:30 am. It was a beautiful day at the beach - once the torrential downpour let up.
I was proud of the guys for the show they put out, but more than anything it was a big reminder for all the work we still have to do. This was the first time I’ve heard a piece I helped write performed in a show. It was a rewarding feeling, but I’m more so looking forward to having it performed and played to the true abilities of the players.
Today I spent the morning cleaning, watching another heart break season come to a close by the Mets, and letting out some steam by going on a bike ride. The recent rainfalls made the trails particularly slick (as the bloody scrape on my arm with testify), but it was good to get out nonetheless.
I have a busy week ahead of me with work. I’m getting involved with some great opportunities working in the social media world and I couldn’t be more excited. This is a topic I have dedicated myself to learning and I’m ready to start putting my knowledge to work.
So with that I’m going to head to bed. Anxious to take on the challenges that lie ahead this week.
