Yes, I’ve been busy today catching up on blog entries. This final wikipedia edit on Jeff Buckley should mean I’ve filled all of my blog requirements for the semester - hooray!!
But seriously, this is a project I did enjoy participating in. Like I said in an earlier post, there are some articles I still plan on contributing to in the future. The Jeff Buckley and The Fire Theft articles are not likely to be ones I contribute to because they either have plenty of information already or there is no new information to contribute. But hey, that may change over time.

I have done some minor editing to the wikipedia article on Jeff Buckley. Since I chose to edit this article back in the beginning of the semester, major contributions have taken place. I find there is little, if any, additional information I can personally contribute, so I am limited to grammar editing.
Jeff Buckley would be high on the list for influential musicians in my life. His music is as passionate and deep as anyone I have ever had the privilege to hear. It is really a shame that he passed on when he did, but I find it hard to imagine where he would be today if he hadn’t. Much like Kurt Cobain, the music industry greatly troubled Jeff even at the height of his popularity. Considering the industry has only gone more commercial, I find it unlikely that he’d still be making music today even if he was still alive.

I added some information to the wikipedia page on Jeff Buckley this morning pertaining to the night of his death. Jeff Buckley was a singer and songwriter of the early and mid 90’s and was considered by critics to be one of the most promising artists of his generation after the release of his critically acclaimed 1994 debut album Grace.
If you’ve never heard any of his work, it is absolutely worth checking out.
